I’m Jennie and I’m a professional organiser working throughout Kent and East Sussex. Throughout the past 2 and a half years, I have helped many people to declutter and bring harmony to their home.
I know that working alone can sometimes feel overwhelming and the thought of starting to declutter can increase feelings of anxiety. I’m here to help you start the decluttering process, with a friendly and relaxed approach where we’ll work efficiently alongside each other to get the job done.
My role is to listen and to help you through the decluttering process by offering non-judgemental advice.
I’ll also give you plenty of ideas of how to maintain your tidy home once we finish working together. I will also take away anything you decide to donate to charity or for recycling (this service is included in my hourly rate).
I’m a member of APDO and I hold professional indemnity and liability insurance.
After 30 years in the same home, we finally decided the time had arrived for us to downsize. We knew we had to “declutter” but found it very difficult to decide what should go. Fortunately, we were introduced to Jennie who was cheerful and courteous throughout. She was able to suggest what we might leave behind. With Jennie's help we found making decisions easy. We worked together and, when the job was complete, Jennie even took our donations to the local charity shop.
Jennie was very helpful and efficient at helping me to declutter several areas of my home - the garage and a large understairs cupboard in particular were a challenge. It’s much easier to have someone to help and it takes half the time!
Jennie helped me to clear my cluttered maisonette. She put me at ease, as I was quite anxious about it at first. Jennie was efficient and quick and we got a lot done in a short amount of time. I was pleased with the results and the organised home has definitely had a positive impact on the family wellbeing.
As avid book collectors, my husband and I decided we had far too many books on our shelves. With Jennie's help we decided what we would like to keep and what could now be sold or go to charity. Now our study looks amazing, we know what books we have and can enjoy the space once again! I highly recommend Jennie's decluttering service.
